6.9-magnitude quake hits Taiwan

 Beijing: A 6.9-extent seismic tremor hit eastern Taiwan's Hualien Region at 2:44 p.m. Sunday Beijing Time, as per the China Quake Organizations Center (CENC).

The focal point was checked at 23.15 degrees north scope and 121.30 degrees east longitude, at a profundity of 10 km, Xinhua news organization detailed citing the CENC.
